Sewer Camera Inspection and Locating
A small high resolution camera with lights is connected to a monitor which gives the operator an excellent view of any obstructions or problems in the lines.

Sewer cameras can provide a visual inspection of any inaccessible lines or any plumbing issues such as as collapsed or corroded pipes, obstructions and damages underground, and blockages from grease or other household elements. Having that up close view of the plumbing is great so that you are sure that your plumbing problem will be properly diagnosed and repaired.

High Pressure Hydro Jetting
High pressure hydro jetting, also known as hydro scrubbing is the process in which your sewer pipes are cleaned by streams of high pressure water. The water is shot right into the pipes. The water streams shoot out at a force up to 3,500 psi with a flow of around 15-20 gallons a minute.

Some clogs can be so bad that they cannot be removed with traditional snaking. One example, when tree roots find their way into your sewer lines. The only way to remove them and get your pipes working again is using high pressure hydro jetting.

Tankless Water Heater Installation
Tankless water heaters are a more energy efficient way of heating water. Tankless water heaters are either electric or gas powered and do not have the reservoir as the traditional water heaters do. Tankless water heaters have a water pressure sensor. The water flows through a grid on the heater where it is heated up before if flows out of your tap. When you turn the hot water off, it turns off the heating element until the next time you need it. Having a tankless water heater can save homeowners 20 to 30% in energy costs.

A benefit of a tankless water heater is that you never run out of hot water.

With a better supply of hot water, energy savings, and a relatively easy installation, tankless water heaters is an excellent way to go.

Green Plumbing
Green plumbing is a way of limiting water use and eliminating water waste. Far too often water is wasted. Many people leave the water running while brushing their teeth. Taking long showers is also not uncommon. When washing dishes, many people leave the water running the whole time. This can be a huge waste of water. Green plumbing can help lower lower heating bills, electricity bills, and water bills.

Fortunately however, there are green plumbing fixtures available to help with water waste. All sinks can easily be fitted with low flow faucets. These faucets will allow you to use plenty of water without overloading the system and wasting water. Fitting a hose to your kitchen sink is a good idea. When you use the hose to rinse, the water coming from the faucet stops.

Installing a sensor operated water flow for the faucets in the bathroom sinks is an excellent idea. These faucets turn on when a person’s hands are under it. This can keep family members or employees from wasting water. This can also help to control germs being passed around because dirty hands are no longer on the faucet. This is a benefit for office buildings with many employees.

Since many people waste water while taking a shower, installing a low-flow shower head can put an end to the waste.

To cut down water use in your toilet, you can install low flow toilets. If you worry that you might have a back up, dual flow toilets is an option. These toilets allow you to choose between a regular flush or a low flush depending on your needs.

Another less common alternative is to have a composting unit installed. This is actually better than the low flow toilet. No water is used at all. Some systems however, require special installations for home use.

Hot water heaters can be a big wast of water and energy. Most hot water heaters have a reservoir which keeps large amounts of water heated constantly, even if you do not need to use hot water. To eliminate this type of waste, a tankless hot water heater is a good idea. These types of heaters allow hot water to be generated only when you need it. This can also save on the energy cost from the heating element keeping large amounts of water warm.

If you like the idea of having large amounts of water already heated for whenever you need it, there is an alternative. You can install point of use water heaters. These heaters do not supply the entire house with constantly heated water, only certain areas. Most people with this type of water heater usually set it up for showers, that is where most water is used.

If you have sprinklers in your lawn set on a timer, this can be a big waste of water. Regular sprinklers do not know if it is raining or has just rained. Smart irrigation devices for your sprinkler system is a good idea. This devise has a rain sensor. If enough rain has fallen to keep the ground wet, the sprinklers will not come on.

Not only is green plumbing a good idea to help financially, it also helps the environment which is everyone’s responsibility.
